I think it's nicer if you pick something you wanted to do and it is nicer (from my pov at least), sort of a "surprise me" - let's check out what this new manga/mangaka whom someone else likes so much is about.
I have a personal list of juicy-looking manga I would like to see in Eng before I die too but if I can actually point out a specific title, then I should and can probably just pay a few dollars and commission you/one of the many willing translators available online to translate it. Don't treat scanlators like a free-of-charge translation service (and potatosan, don't allow yourself to be treated as one).
I'm dumbfounded at some (most) of comments left ... what's with requesting stuff that's already been translated [children, there's this site called manga-updates or better still, Google if you haven't heard of it] or requesting titles that are still known to be actively covered by a group simply because they're not being updated as frequently as they like...

Or maybe Bouzu Kawai ya Kesa Made Itoshi. Only one chapter of it was translated 3 years ago. If you picked either of these up I'd definitely offer to be a proofreader.
